Learner Driver Coaching

Learn to drive in style and comfort with Chequered Flag. We offer learners a range of driving experiences in our cars with striking looks, together with a calm and relaxed atmosphere, creating an ideal learning environment.

Stimulating Training Programme

Chequered Flag will help YOU to pass the test and to develop the confidence with the “life skills” required to become a safe and responsible driver on today’s busy roads. Our main priority is to guide you through the learning process as quickly and efficiently as possible with a stimulating and fully structured training programme tailored to your individual needs.

Free Course Handouts

We provide FREE course hand outs covering the main objectives of every lesson. This speeds up the learning process thus ensuring maximum value from every session in the car. To help you keep a check on your progress every Chequered Flag learner will receive a Self Reflective Log. This helps to identify strengths and weaknesses and prepares an Action Plan for the goals and aims of the next lesson.

Theory, Hazard Perception and Practical Tests

We will help you to pass the Theory, Hazard Perception and Practical Tests by following the Syllabus developed by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency (D.V.S.A). This agency sets the tests and conducts your practical driving test, so it pays to get the best driving tuition possible.

Learner Driver Packages to suit your needs and budget

The DVSA recommends that a Learner has around 45 hours of professional lessons plus a minimum of 22 hours practice during this time. The traditional method of one 1-hour lesson a week means that it will take a year to qualify.  There are alternatives; lessons can be longer than one hour and lessons can be more frequent than once a week.  The extra practice will still have to be fitted in by the pupil.

Reviews

“Many, many thanks for teaching Fin to drive and getting him through his test. All the kids have had a great respect for you as their teacher and it has been reassuring to Ailsa and I to have you and your expertise to teach our children to drive in a safe way. Many thanks for all your help.”
