Chequered Flag is a fully ORDIT Registered company based in Newton Mearns on the South Side of Glasgow. Neil, who founded the company in 2007, is a Driving Standards Agency (D.S.A). top graded instructor. He has several years of experience in the Driver Instructor Training Industry working for Independent and National Driving Schools.
Neil has considerable expertise in training qualified drivers to become Approved Driving Instructors and coaches and develops existing driving instructors to improve their qualification. He is also a Registered Fleet Trainer, delivering Occupational Road Risk Management courses to Corporate Drivers focusing on reducing the risks associated with commercial driving.
Neil has tutored a Safer Driving Course for Young Drivers organised by the Community Safety Partnership of East Renfrewshire Council. The course lasted for six weeks and covered subjects such as: Buying your first car, Drivers’ Attitudes and Responsibilities, the Rights of all Road Users, Driving Laws, the dangers of Drink and Drugs and Hazard Perception.
